Approved descriptions of Brainwave, in two lengths. Please use them as written.

Short

Brainwave delivers science-backed talks, workshops and wellbeing strategy on brain health and mental fitness, always with real scientists. Founded by neuroscientist Anne-Sophie Fluri, it works with organisations worldwide, online and in person.

Long

The world of health and wellness is more confusing than ever, filled with misinformation and quick-fix solutions. Brainwave exists to be the reliable alternative: a first-of-its-kind hub delivering science-backed mental fitness events, talks, workshops and coaching globally, always with real scientists and academics. Its programmes cover sleep, focus, stress, resilience, memory and meditation, and are delivered as corporate workshops, keynotes, company off-sites and long-term wellbeing strategy. Brainwave was founded by Anne-Sophie Fluri, a neuroscientist trained at Imperial College London, and is operated by Brainwave GmbH in Kerzers, Switzerland.

Brainwave is an educational service, not a medical or crisis service. It does not diagnose or treat, and nothing it publishes replaces advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Spokesperson

Anne-Sophie Fluri

Anne-Sophie Fluri is a published neuroscientist and two-time founder. She completed an MRes in Experimental Neuroscience at Imperial College London, where she worked on psychedelic research and migraine science. She later received a PhD scholarship to develop an algorithm addressing motion sickness in virtual reality, leaving after two years to build her first neurotechnology startup.

Over the past decade, she has translated neuroscience into consumer apps across mental health, meditation, sleep and mental fitness. Her senior roles have included Head of Mindfulness and Chief Science Officer at venture-backed platforms, and she has helped shape products used by millions of people each day.

She has founded two startups, including Brainwave, and completed a multi-million exit. Her work focuses on making rigorous science feel grounded, warm and useful for mainstream audiences, informed by an international upbringing across the USA, Europe and Asia.

Name on first reference: Anne-Sophie Fluri. Thereafter: Fluri. Title: founder of Brainwave.

Anne-Sophie Fluri is a published neuroscientist, speaker and founder of Brainwave. Her peer-reviewed research, with affiliations listed through Imperial College London, has appeared in Brain, European Journal of Neuroscience, Brain Stimulation and Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology. Her approach is warm, direct and evidence-conscious: people leave with useful models and tools, together with a clear understanding of what the science supports and where responsible caveats still matter.

180 words

Anne-Sophie Fluri is a published neuroscientist, speaker and founder of Brainwave. She is a co-author of peer-reviewed research on vestibular processing, numerical cognition and visual–vestibular interaction, published in Brain, European Journal of Neuroscience, Brain Stimulation and Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology. The publication records list her research affiliation through Imperial College London.

Her work now focuses on making rigorous science useful outside the journal page. Through Brainwave, she designs and delivers talks and workshops for teams on focus, sleep, resilience, mindfulness and mental fitness. Sessions combine clear explanations, practical exercises and source transparency, without presenting a one-off workshop as a cure for structural workplace problems or individual health concerns.

Anne-Sophie has delivered public and organisational sessions recorded by bodies including the Association for Coaching and Walbrook/LIBF, and has contributed expert commentary and podcast conversations on sleep, meditation, performance and mental fitness. She is available for corporate workshops, keynotes, panels, podcasts and evidence-led brand collaborations.
