This policy explains how Brainwave GmbH uses cookies and similar browser technologies on wearebrainwave.co. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Local storage and session storage are similar browser features that let a website remember information. “First-party” technologies are set for this website; “third-party” technologies are set by another service. The technologies described below are first-party from the visitor's perspective, although a service provider may help operate the underlying function.
2. What Brainwave currently uses
Brainwave does not currently use visitor analytics, advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, or marketing cookies. We use only secure-account storage, a record of your privacy choice, and chat history when you actively request the AI assistant.

3. Categories
Strictly necessary
These technologies provide a service you request or protect the site—for example, keeping an invited client signed in. They cannot be disabled through the site without breaking that function. You can block cookies in your browser, but the client portal may stop working.
Requested functionality
Chat session storage is used only after you open or use the assistant. It provides the conversation continuity you requested. You can close the browser-tab session or clear site data to remove it.
Analytics
Inactive. No analytics cookies or visitor-measurement scripts are currently enabled.
Advertising and marketing
Inactive. No advertising pixels, retargeting tags, or cross-site marketing cookies are currently enabled.
4. Cookie settings and browser controls
The site's settings panel accurately reflects the current configuration. Because there are no optional analytics or marketing technologies, there is nothing to opt into. Brainwave will request a fresh choice before enabling a non-essential category.
You can also delete or block cookies and site storage in your browser. Doing so may sign you out of the client portal, remove the saved cookie choice, or clear your local AI conversation. Browser controls differ by product.
5. External links and social media
Instagram images visible on this site are static files hosted by Brainwave, not embedded social widgets. Instagram and LinkedIn do not receive information merely because those local images load. If you click an external social link, the destination may set its own cookies under its own policy.
6. Changes
We will update this page if the technologies or purposes change. The date above identifies the current version. If we add optional analytics or marketing technologies, they will remain inactive until any legally required consent is obtained.
