We work with your leaders and teams to understand your business, agree meaningful KPIs and put practical improvements into action. Together, we track what changes and decide what comes next.

The starting pointFrom outcomes to everyday work
We get to know your business.
What matters to your business? Where does work slow down? What do your teams need to do it well?
We spend time with your leaders, managers and the people doing the work. We map teams, responsibilities and the handoffs between them, connecting your business priorities to the places where work gets stuck.
Does important work reach the right outcome, when it is needed?
02Quality
Is the work accepted, with less avoidable error and rework?
03Sustainable capacity
Can teams sustain it with the people, time and support available?
We agree measures for each team’s work and look at how teams depend on one another.
01 / How we work
From understanding to lasting change.
We work alongside your people, from the first conversations to changes in everyday work. Each stage gives you something concrete to use and a clear decision about what comes next.

Focused diagnostic
Understand how the business works.
We connect business priorities to the teams doing the work. Interviews with sponsors, managers and employees reveal workflows, dependencies and pressure points, so the diagnosis reflects how work actually happens and where a change could matter.

Focused diagnostic
Define what progress means.
We audit existing KPIs and define meaningful measures where none exist. For the agreed teams and workflows, we establish a baseline for delivery, quality and sustainable capacity, with agreed data sources, privacy boundaries and clear limits on what the evidence can tell us.

Implementation & review
Put practical changes into action.
Together, we prioritise one or two changes, with named owners and agreed actions. Brainwave designs the solution and facilitates implementation; the client owner authorises operational changes. We record what was delivered, what changed and what got in the way.

Implementation & review
Use evidence to decide what continues.
We compare results with the baseline, accounting for implementation costs, quality, capacity and changes in context. The review makes uncertainty visible and gives leaders a reasoned decision: scale a useful change, adapt it or stop work that is not helping.

Implementation & review
Make better ways of working last.
We help teams build useful changes into everyday routines and train internal owners to maintain them. The partnership keeps measures, responsibilities and reviews current, so teams can continue learning as business priorities, workflows and conditions change.

01 / Understand
Contract reviews are waiting.
Map intake, reviewer capacity and handoffs with Legal and Sales.
02 / Define
Agree what progress means.
Baseline the time from a complete request to a substantive response, by type of work.
03 / Implement
Change the way work moves.
Introduce clearer intake, triage and reviewer cover with a named client owner.
04 / Evaluate
Keep, adapt or stop.
Review response time, rework and workload together. Record the evidence and next decision.

A team alongside yours
Start focused. Build momentum.
Begin with a focused diagnostic. We map the work, agree meaningful KPIs and recommend where to act. Then we scope the implementation together. An ongoing partnership keeps useful changes moving, reviews results and builds your team’s ability to carry the work forward.
01Business and team map+
A shared view of business priorities, team responsibilities, workflows, dependencies and the pressure points worth addressing.
02Meaningful KPIs and baseline+
Existing measures reviewed and missing KPIs defined, with a baseline for delivery, quality and sustainable capacity that fits each team's work.
03Improvement plan and support+
Feasible, costed recommendations, named owners and practical implementation support, with a record of what was actually put into practice.
04Reviewed decision brief+
A clear account of results, costs, context and uncertainty, with a recommendation to scale, adapt or stop and agreed next actions.
05Capability transfer+
Manager guidance, team routines and training for internal owners, so useful changes become part of how the business works.
06Shared reporting+
An evidence view of agreed measures, implementation and decisions. This can use your existing reporting tools or a tailored dashboard where useful.
Weekly checks follow delivery and obstacles. Fortnightly sessions with the client owner resolve actions and record what has been implemented.
Monthly
Review the evidence and decide.
We maintain sources and measures, prepare a reviewed brief and meet to assess progress, uncertainty and the next decision.
Quarterly
Review the whole portfolio.
Leadership reviews the changes across teams, their costs and results, then agrees what to scale, adapt or stop as business priorities evolve.
03 / The shared evidence Interactive preview
See what changed. Decide what comes next.
The dashboard brings agreed KPIs, work conditions and improvement activity into one shared view. We interpret it with you in regular reviews, including what is uncertain and what to do next.
We can work with your existing reporting tools. This example illustrates how we make progress visible throughout the partnership.

01Measures we agree. Each team keeps relevant KPIs, with definitions and a baseline.
02Changes we follow through. Track what was implemented alongside the movement in results.
03Decisions we make together. Review the evidence, then agree what to keep, change or stop.
Trust is part of the design
Understand the work. Respect the people.
Useful evidence needs clear boundaries. We agree what is measured, why it matters and who can see it before the work begins.
✓Aggregate team patterns, not individual performance scoring.
✓Clear data boundaries agreed before measurement begins.
✓Plain-language caveats around every reported signal.
✓Voluntary qualitative input where sensitive topics are explored.
✓Interventions focused on work design, not personal blame.
A little more clarity
Good questions. Clear answers.
Every organisation starts somewhere different. Here are the things leadership teams tend to ask first.
What does the Human Performance Partnership include?
We understand your business, map teams and workflows, review or define KPIs, design practical changes and support their implementation. We then evaluate results with you and help internal owners embed what works. Shared reporting supports that work; the service is the ongoing diagnosis, delivery and review.
What if we do not have clear team KPIs?
Defining them is part of the work. We agree what good delivery, quality and sustainable capacity mean for each team, identify feasible data sources and establish a baseline. Measures follow the team's responsibilities and business priorities, rather than a generic score.
Who implements the changes?
Brainwave designs the proposed changes, facilitates delivery and helps resolve obstacles. A named client owner authorises operational changes and coordinates the internal responsibilities agreed in the plan. We agree this division of work up front and record what is actually implemented before evaluating results.
Do you need access to private employee data?
The starting point is team-level measurement and approved operating data. Access, purpose and boundaries are agreed before anything begins, and sensitive topics are handled through aggregate or qualitative methods.
How does the dashboard support the work?
It brings agreed KPIs, aggregate team signals, implementation records and review decisions into one evidence view. Reporting can use your existing tools or a tailored dashboard where useful. The preview on this page uses fictional data to illustrate how we show progress and record decisions.
Can this work across different functions?
Yes. We map each team's responsibilities and relevant measures, then examine the workflows and dependencies between teams. That can reveal problems in handovers, decision making, meetings or workload that a single function cannot resolve alone.
How do companies usually start?
Start with a scoped diagnostic. It produces a business and team map, agreed KPIs, a baseline and a feasible, costed recommendation. That recommendation may be to proceed, narrow the scope or stop. An ongoing partnership is a separate decision, not an automatic next step.
Do you guarantee a business result?
No. We do not promise a fixed uplift or financial return. We compare results with the baseline, implementation costs, business KPIs, quality, capacity and context, and make uncertainty explicit before recommending whether to scale, adapt or stop.
Do you publish fixed pricing?
No. Scope depends on the teams and workflows involved, the depth of diagnosis, the measures needed and the implementation support required. We agree the work and costs through a scoping conversation.
